I have been a science teacher (primarily Chemistry and Physics) for the past 17 years. Five years ago, I decided to embrace the gift of technology in my classroom. At that point I converted my Chemistry curriculum to a "hybrid" format (some direct instruction, some flipped instruction.) Currently, I am working in a mostly paperless classroom, having STUDENTS create content, and "upping the game" when it comes to inquiry and collaboration. Learning what new technology can offer, and learning how to use this technology has NOT always been easy, but it IS possible to leverage new tools to become a more effective teacher. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it!
